The best pair of dairy animals at Balmoral were from Sam McCormacks Hilltara herd , Bangor and were exhibited by John McCormick and Denis O'Neill. Alan Ashenhurst, Director John Thomspon and sons presents the rosette and Declan Billington , Chief Executive presents the trophy.

The Holstein breed was awarded the best group of dairy anuimals at Balmoral with entries from Sam McCormick Bangor and Ronald McLean and sons Donaghmore. Looking after the trio are John McCormick, Denis O'neil Malcom McLean and Gordon Donalson sales director John Thomspon and sons while Declan Billington chief executive John Thomspon and sons presents the trophy to Sam McCormick.

James Porter, Lisburn took the award for the best pair of Aberdeen Angus heifers bred by the exhibitor. Hugh McCluggage, John Thompson and Sons Ltd, presented the award to the handlers, Adam Crockett and Ian Wray.
