A Calf Bonanza Because your calf’s health is your wealth both now and in the future, Thompsons has teamed up with Bonanza Calf Nutrition to launch the Shine range of milk replacers. With the numbers of calves reared on farms increasing, and the resultant pressure this can put on management time and disease levels, it was time to review the roles milk replacers had to fulfil at farm level.
The Shine range includes Once a Day, a pioneer in its field with 10 years of research knowledge behind it and it’s full of both butter and skim milk powder. Flyingstart has the highest digestibility of any bucket or machine powder, due to the milk ingredients used and the care and attention these ingredients receive from the liquid stage to dried milk replacer. Flyingstart is the only instant calf milk made with buttermilk. The final product is Quickstart, a product similar to most of its competitors but, as with the rest of the range, the process of hydrolysis, drying, lifting, blending and packing is done so carefully that it’s a superstar in its field.
